Devine Quilters’ Guild Challenge 2014 Inspiration from
Paintings
Participants are to take inspiration from the paintings
listed on the slip of paper they draw from the basket. Take the colors, or forms, or whatever
catches your imagination about the painting you are given and make it into a
quit. The quilt must measure at least 20
inches on any side and no more than 48 inches on any side. The quilts are due at the November meeting. I
am very excited to see the results of everyone’s inspiration. I will have more slips of paper with
paintings listed at the next few meetings in case you did not attend the
February meeting. Try a new technique; stretch your creativity but most of all
